Claire’s approach
She assumes an empathetic and personable approach with her clients to ensure they feel supported throughout the difficult family law process.
What Claire does
Regularly appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Claire has the experience and confidence to represent clients in complex parenting and property matters when Court intervention is necessary. However, Claire understands that, for many clients, avoiding the emotional and financial toll of Court proceedings is a priority. Claire’s primary focus is helping clients obtain favourable outcomes while avoiding the cost and delay of litigation, through negotiations, mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes.
Claire acts in financial matters involving complex corporate structures, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds. Claire also acts in often high-conflict parenting matters, including relocation disputes, urgent applications, family violence, drug and alcohol abuse.
Claire volunteers at University Legal Centre advice nights from time to time to provide free legal advice to those who may not be able to afford legal services.
