About Allysha

Allysha has participated in the New South Wales Women’s Mentoring Program as a mentor for junior lawyers and supervises PLT students who are in their final years of study at the University of Newcastle.

Allysha regularly volunteers at University Legal Centre advice nights to assist the students and provide free legal advice. Allysha is passionate about her local community and social justice. When able, Allysha gives back to the community.

What Allysha does

Allysha provides clear, focussed and strategic advice on all aspects of family law including property and financial matters, parenting issues, child support, spousal maintenance and de facto relationships, with a particular focus on those matters involving significant asset pools and issues of legal and commercial complexity.

Allysha’s expertise includes interstate and international relocation, Hague Convention matters (international child abduction), child support, spouse maintenance, and complex property matters, including those involving complex property structures and high net worth individuals.

Allysha is skilled at drafting legal documents including Binding Financial Agreements (pre-nuptial and post-nuptial and after separation/divorce), Child Support Agreements and pleadings.   Allysha’s wide range of experience and excellent communication skills allows her to approach your matter with a diverse perspective, making her practice more efficient which ultimately benefits you.

Who Allysha works with

Allysha regularly appears as an advocate in the Federal Circuit Court, and Family Court in Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle, the Children’s Court of New South Wales and the District Court of New South Wales.

While experienced in litigation, Allysha has a strong interest in alternative dispute resolution and is accredited as a family dispute resolution practitioner.  Allysha encourages negotiated resolution where possible and is committed to achieving a commercial outcome for all her clients.
