Christie Jane Howson

Christie commenced employment with Turnbull Hill Lawyers in June 2004. Prior to joining Turnbull Hill Lawyers, Christie spent 4 years as a litigation lawyer in a national commercial law firm and attended court and various tribunals in Newcastle, Sydney and interstate.

Christie's areas of expertise include building and construction litigation, commercial litigation, industrial relations and Employment Law. She is involved in dispute resolution, initiating and defending legal proceedings, recovering debts owing to business and assisting with all matters relating to a business employing workers. Christie has extensive knowledge of the new Workchoices legislation.

Christie regularly attends business functions in the Newcastle region and is a Director of the Lake Macquarie Business Centre, and a Committee Member of the Women in Building and Associated Services Group, affiliated with the Master Builders Association.

Her interests outside of work include tennis, netball and spending time at the Hunter Valley Vineyards with friends and family.
