Since being admitted as a Solicitor in March 1963, Louis has a wide ranging experience in most area of law.

Louis was a former Partner and senior Partner in McNeil and Pirona, McNeil Pirona & Gilmour, McNeil James.

Louis is a life member of the Association of Apex Clubs.

Louis is married with 8 children and was a former Newcastle and Country Rugby Union representative player.
