Lauren Moroney - Commercial Litigation - Turnbull Hill Lawyers in Newcastle

Lauren Moroney

Lauren graduated from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies in 2007 and the University of New England with a Bachelor of Laws in 2010.

During her studies, Lauren held full time positions at top tier law firms in both Sydney and Brisbane as a Marketing Coordinator, Legal Assistant and Senior Paralegal.

In her positions as a Paralegal, Lauren worked within the Commercial Litigation Team and was involved principally in the areas of banking litigation, mortgage recovery and commercial debt recovery matters for various banks, non-banks and major financial services institutions. Her role included commencing proceedings in both NSW and QLD in the Local/Magistrates Court, District Court and Supreme Court to obtain Judgment for secured and unsecured debt, dispute resolution, security enforcement and mortgagee sales. Lauren’s role also included commencing Insolvency and Bankruptcy proceedings in the Supreme Court and Federal Magistrates Court respectively.

Lauren has recently relocated to Newcastle and joined Turnbull Hill Lawyers in April 2011. She was admitted in May 2011 to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and works as part of our Commercial Litigation Team.

Lauren is committed to providing accurate and practical advice to her clients in an efficient and timely manner and has the necessary skills and expertise to assist clients in all areas of Commercial Litigation.

Lauren's interests outside work include fashion, the beach, travel and spending time with family and friends.
