Barbara Murphy - Conveyancing and Property Law - Turnbull Hill Lawyers in Newcastle

Barbara Murphy

Barbara practises in our Property Law Team and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2003.

She was born and raised in Bathurst, but left to explore life in 1977. Marriage, three children and a desire to expand her interests took her away from Bathurst for some years, mostly to Queensland and northern New South Wales.

Barbara has had an interesting career, ranging from bookkeeping to marketing and real estate, before deciding to study law as a mature-age student at Southern Cross University. Barbara credits her first job as a bookkeeper with a law firm for sparking her interest in the law. However, it wasn’t until more recent years that her interest turned into passion.

“Two roles, one as an assistant to a Barrister and the other as a Strata Title Manager, inspired me to study law”, said Barbara.

Barbara’s areas of practice at Turnbull Hill Lawyers include residential, commercial and rural conveyancing, Strata Law, Retirement Village Law, Commercial Leasing and Mortgage & Securities.
